Britians Got talent.....Susan Boyle

This post is mainly for the people who are not in the UK. Most countries now have their equivalent of Britians Got Talent so I am sure you are familiar with the programme and the format.
The following link is from youtube and shows Susan's performance on the show.
Its not what you might expect and when I watched, the clip has already been viewed almost 24,000,000 times

Phill,

I notice in your entry "Never Ending Journey" you mentioned about the mileage. How is the mileage worked out for payment?

Do H&R, or indeed any Canadian company pay you on your log book mileage or do they use some sort of routemaster programe and tell you what mileage they will pay when you accept the job?

Hi Bert, welcome back.
Mileage payment is a bit of an issue as it very rarely tallies up with the distance you have driven. I think someone once worked it out and they averaged 6% less paid miles than they had actually done and that was the reason for me showing my miles as a reminder to myself to check how many I was paid. I think H&R use pc-miler to calculate.
Toatal distance for the never ending trip was 2781 miles (logbook) and I was paid for 2785 miles which is more than I did but never the less pretty accurate.

Thanks, Phil
