Across the Donners Pass

Howdy, for a small fee this lady is all yours. Affectionately known as a "Lot Lizard" she is the first lady to proposition me since I came here and trust me when I say that there was no temptation, just a polite "no thanks".

So, pulled out of the truckstop yesterday morning and set off on my merry way with the sun beating down through the haze and stopped for a break on the Donners Pass, a very scenic route which leads you from California into Nevada. I parked in a rest area and went for a walk onto the granite rocks which have been gouged by glaciers many thousands of years ago.

Saw some of the local widlife namely a few lizards and plenty of chipmunks then set off into Nevada. An hour later this came to a halt with a "Bang" as a tyre had blown on the trailer and pieces of rubber were thrown all over the road.
2hrs later I was rolling and passed through Reno easily enough, it was the first time I have been through during the day and it was nice to see the casinos and a little more of the town.

Parked at Winnemuca Nevada and about to start the day, looking to giving it a big punch and want to do 600 miles so hopefully its not too hot.
Cheers for now

You should have offered her a ride to winnemucca so she could have legitimized her job. OR NOT.

Hahha, Jim, she was horrid !
I have never been in any of the Ranches at Winnemucca but I would hazard a guess that she wouldn't make a living. I did hear the ladies advertising on the CB, food, free showers and a massage.
Definetely something I will look into next time.

Hi Jim, it was Wells Nevada where the ladies advertised on the CB, not Winnemucca

they are on the radio in Winnemucca too. also battle mountain and carlin. wells is the most vocal though. have you heard of the new dvd documentary "big rig"? in it they talk to a couple of the broads from wells. it will scare you away.

Hi jim, yeah I have seen the Big Rig documentary. I was quite pleased as I recognised a few places. They do show some of the ladies from a ranch, not a pretty sight lol. I think its Donna's Ranch.
To be honest I thought BigRig was a bit dull, I dont know what I was expecting from it though.
